The next generation of the 911 GTS (992.2) has arrived, setting new standards in the 911 legacy. With a sleek, refined design and the iconic 911 driving dynamics enhanced by innovative T-Hybrid technology, this model pushes performance and luxury to new heights.
While the exterior maintains the iconic 911 silhouette, subtle enhancements add to its aerodynamic edge. A redesigned front apron features bold, vertical aerodynamic elements and adaptive air intake flaps, adjusting to driving conditions and personal preferences for optimised performance.
New matrix LED headlights with the distinctive four-point daytime running lights lend the 911 a powerful and recognisable signature look, making a striking impression from any distance.
The GTS embraces connectivity and modern driver-focused technology. Enhanced Apple CarPlay now supports advanced Siri integration, simplifying the control of key vehicle functions.
In the centre is now a stunning 21.65-inch curved display that can be customised between a classic five-gauge design with a central rev counter or a streamlined Sport Chrono mode, giving drivers flexibility between traditional aesthetics and a cutting-edge digital interface.
Unlike your usual hybrid Porsche, the new T-Hybrid technology showcased for the first time in the new GTS does not require you to plug it in. The primary focus of the new motorsport derived T-Hybrid system is to enhance performance. The GTS has a completely re-engineered 3.6-litre flat six engine which features an electric motor that helps power the turbocharger to eliminate lag, all whilst retaining that unmistakable engine sound synonymous with Porsche.
This a big leap forward from the older generation, as the new GTS can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3 seconds, which when compared to the 992.1 time of 4.2 seconds, is a massive improvement.
Advanced Handling with Rear-Axle Steering is standard on all 911 GTS models, with the rear-axle steering enhancing both agility and stability. At lower speeds, it aids in manoeuvrability by turning the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front wheels, while at higher speeds, it aligns the wheels to increase stability, making the 992.2 GTS as adept in urban environments as it is out on the open road.
The new 911 GTS combines innovative technology with Porsche’s legendary driving feel, setting a new benchmark for the 911 line.
