Porsche Centre Newport Networking Event

In November, Porsche Centre Newport were thrilled to open their doors to local charities and businesses for their first Networking event.

After opening in May 2024, Porsche Centre Newport was keen to get to know their neighbours through the event. The team were able to share the ways in which Porsche Centre Newport, through the Lovett Foundation, are partnering with local charity organisations to contribute to the advancement of the community. The evening was a brilliant opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and explore how businesses and charities can work together for the benefit of Newport.

Porsche Centre Cardiff was a prominent feature of the local landscape for over 20 years, and the team are hoping that the new site in Newport will have the same standing. Having played a crucial role in our journey, the Cardiff showroom served as a hub, fostering a togetherness in the local community. Newport’s goal is to continue to build this spirit and to exceed the expectations of our Porsche Customers.

Porsche Centre Newport provide the widest selection of Pre-Owned Porsche cars in Wales, with a 15-car showroom featuring the latest Porsche cars, and a Used Car two-storey showroom which can house 40 cars. At the networking event, the guests got to see the versatile spaces such as meeting rooms and working pods, as well as going behind the scenes in the workshop.

Through our chosen charity, The Lovett Foundation, Dick Lovett have already built some fantastic relationships in the Newport area with local councils and charities that support care leavers and children in care. Through these partnerships, we are able to ascertain the best ways to support our local community by donating time, goods, or funds.

The Lovett Foundation have worked closely with Homewards, who are working in six UK locations to end homelessness. Prince William and The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales have launched this programme: a transformative five-year, locally led programme that will aim to demonstrate that together it’s possible to end homelessness – making it rare, brief, and unrepeated.
