New Porsche 911 at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

The 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed was a thrilling event for car enthusiasts and Porsche certainly left their mark, revealing the iconic new Porsche 911.

It made its dynamic debut at the festival, emerging from underneath a silk sheet before bolting up the famous Goodwood hillclimb with Mark Webber behind the wheel. The star of the show was the new T-Hybrid 911, with Porsche having made fundamental upgrades to make it the first road-going hybrid 911 and this was certainly not one to miss.

The T-Hybrid system in the new-generation Porsche 911 combines a lightweight turbocharger with an integrated electric motor, resulting in impressive performance gains. Not only does it enhance speed, but it also improves efficiency.

Porsche enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, which will be the first to hit the roads with this all-new powertrain.

  • The 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid offers a better driving performance due to its newly constructed powertrain system, with 3.6 litres of displacement 
  • The 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid Coupé delivers remarkable performance, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.0 seconds and reaching a top speed of 193 mph on the track 
  • The 911 Carrera boasts a revamped 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer engine making it more dynamic than ever before
