Classic 986 Boxster race car for sale

Porsche Swindon are proud to offer our race winning 986 Boxster S for sale. After featuring in the Porsche Classic Restoracing Competition in 2018 and 2019, we are bidding farewell to our unique classic Boxster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Porsche enthusiast who is considering entering the new Porsche Classic Boxster Cup series in 2020 to purchase a race ready Boxster. With the first race of the Porsche Classic Boxster Cup postponed, potential drivers still have time to purchase a classic Boxster and enter the competition.

This Coca Cola liveried Porsche Boxster was a double race winning car at the Festival of Porsche at Brands Hatch in September 2018. Our driver Ollie Coles together with this Porsche featured in podium finishes on three occasions and was an overall runner up in the 2018 season.

The car was fully converted from a standard 986 Boxster S with 87,000 miles on the clock into what it is today and was driven by our own Technician from Porsche Centre Swindon as the sole driver in all races. 

The car’s engine and suspension were fully upgraded and prepared for the rigours of race conditions and Custom Cages fitted the roll cage once it had been fully stripped down. The Boxster underwent a complete external respray, with our own Spraymaster Bodyshop, in Guards Red to match the authentic Coca Cola livery of the Porsche 935 that inspired its look.

Fitted with competitive race seats and harnesses, fire extinguisher, fuel cut off switch, tow eyes, bonnet pins and flocked dashboard the car fully complies with Porsche Club Championships guidelines and also comes with an additional set of Race Wheels.
