Porsche Classic Boxster Cup
This year, Porsche Centre Cardiff are excited to announce that they will be competing in the first Porsche Classic Boxster Cup.
The spin-off race series follows on from Porsche Classic Restoracing Championship from 2018 and 2019. The Porsche Classic Boxster Cup 2020 now allows for open entry, meaning that anyone can join the Official Porsche Centres in the racing this year with a liveried 986 Boxster. Scot Adams from Porsche Centre Cardiff will once again drive the Fletcher Aviation Boxster for the Welsh team.
There will be even more action from the track this year when the 986 Boxster’s will be competing in seven rounds of racing all over the UK. Stay up to date with the latest action here on our Boxster Cup Hub.
Scot Adams takes the wheel
For the second year in a row, Scot Adams has been selected to be Porsche Centre Cardiff’s Boxster driver.
Scot is a Gold Accredited Technician in our workshop, but once again will be swapping his overalls for a race suit as he enters his second year of Boxster racing. Scot has worked at Dick Lovett for over 12 years, and is thrilled to represent his team on the track.
Team members from Service, Parts, Workshop, Sales and Marketing will support the races.
After two years of competing in the Porsche Classic Restoracing Championship, the team from Porsche Centre Cardiff’s passion for the brand and competitive spirit is stronger than ever as they enter their third year of racing. In the 2019 season, the Welsh team had a great reputation for turning up in force to cheer Scot on and this year will be no different!
The Porsche Classic Boxster Cup will make it's debut this year.
Although the first three of the Boxster Cup races, including the visit to Donington Park, have been postponed, our team will be getting ready to race. When the time comes, we will be excited to compete against fellow Official Porsche Centres and now members of the public who have entered with their own 986 Boxsters.
