Buying a car is always a big decision but at Dick Lovett MINI and Dick Lovett BMW we know it can be truly life-changing for our Motability customers which is why we’re holding a special Motability Arrive and Drive Event on Friday, August 16, from 9am to 6pm.
Our Motability experts know just how important it is to find the right car to meet your needs - are the seats high enough, do the doors open wide enough, is the boot space large enough to carry a wheelchair or walking aids, or maybe you’re wondering what adaptations you might need to be able to drive in comfort and safety.
The Arrive and Drive Event will enable both existing clients and those new to Dick Lovett or the Motability scheme to try out a variety of models at their leisure, ask our experts for help and advice and see which type of car suits them best. Maybe you need a 3-door with wide-opening doors, a 5-door for more passengers, a saloon, a hatch or even an SUV.
We’ll ensure you can park close to the entrance at our dealerships and guarantee you can test drive both manual and automatic MINI and BMW cars. We’ll have a wide range of models available - including the MINI Countryman PHEV and the BMW i3, both of which are new to the Motability range.
All our Dick Lovett MINI and Dick Lovett BMW dealerships in Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Hungerford are fully accessible, have dedicated disabled parking and have bathroom facilities for our less abled customers to use. There will also be plenty of space for our customers who are in wheelchairs or use walking aids to explore the forecourt and dealership with ease.
All you need to do is bring your driving licence. And if your friend or family member is a driver for your existing Motability vehicle, or you would like to add someone to your Motability package, then bring them along for a test drive, too. Just make sure they remember their own driving licence.
The Motability scheme is open to anyone who receives any of the following benefits:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) with at least 12 months remaining on your award
The scheme allows those in receipt of these benefits to lease a new car every three years and includes a 60,000 mile allowance, or 100,000 miles allowance for wheelchair adapted vehicles. It also includes insurance for two drivers to allow a friend, family member or carer to also drive your Motability car, plus all servicing, maintenance, windscreen and tyre replacement, accident and breakdown cover and many adaptations at no extra cost.
We know our Motability customers have varied needs and our experts will be available throughout the Arrive and Drive Event to answer questions and help you find the best car to suit your requirements. From a MINI Convertible or MINI 5-Door Hatch to a BMW 2 Series Coupé, Active Tourer or the BMW X2.
At Dick Lovett MINI and Dick Lovett BMW we know some of customers prefer smaller hatchbacks for in-town driving and easy parking, while others need larger vehicles for easy access and a higher driving position. Every Dick Lovett MINI and Dick Lovett BMW customer is unique and our Arrive and Drive Event will ensure our Motability experts can help you find your perfect car to meet your own specific needs.
You can take as long as you like to talk to the team and try out the cars - make sure you bring along any wheelchairs or walking aids, too, so you can check there’s ample space to fit them into the boot.
There will be free refreshments throughout the day and our team will also wash and vacuum your current vehicle while you test drive what could soon be your new Dick Lovett MINI or Dick Lovett BMW Motability car.
So call in to Dick Lovett MINI and Dick Lovett BMW in Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Hungerford, on Friday, August 16, from 9am to 6pm for a coffee and a slice of cake and let our Motability experts help you find the vehicle that’s right for you and your family.
