Our first staff ‘cars and coffee’ event at the Bodyshop in Swindon was a great success with a fantastic and diverse mix of cars on display.
From classics such as a Triumph Stag and a MGB to hot hatches such as an Abath and a Civic Type R, it was great to see so many of the team from Dick Lovett displaying their pride and joy!
Among the line-up was a selection of brands that Dick Lovett are lucky enough to represent, including the modern classic Porsche 996 and an Aston Martin DB9. This was a great chance for our staff from around the group to get together and appreciate some excellent cars, but also get to know people who they might not necessarily cross paths with in their day-to-day roles.
As for those who arrived on two wheels, a range of motorcycles also took part in the event, from brands such as BMW, Triumph, and Royal Enfield.
The coffee was supplied by Light Bulb Coffee who supported the event with delicious specialty coffee from their micro roastery.
At the event, the Bodyshop team arranged a raffle to raise money for our chosen charity, The Lovett Foundation. With prizes from around the Group, our three lucky winners on the day took home goodie bags from Porsche, Ferrari, and BMW. We raised £350 for the charity on the day which will go towards supporting children in and leaving foster care in the local area.
We are hoping to hold more cars and coffee events for our team to enjoy, so stay tuned to see more of the exciting vehicles our teams own in the future.
