Maintaining the condition of your brakes is an essential part of MINI servicing and care. At Dick Lovett, our MINI-approved technicians will inspect and check your vehicle’s brakes to ensure they’re roadworthy and suitable for use.
Deterioration of your brakes won’t always be noticeable. If your car pulls to one side when braking or you can hear an audible squeaking noise when using the brakes, these are signs that they need replacing. Your brakes may also feel slower to respond.
Gradual wear and tear is less easy to spot, without a MINI brake service. Our technicians will identify any problems, and replace your MINI brake pads, and brake discs, if needed. To help with the price of repairs, we offer a 0% APR Monthly Payment Plan, allowing you to spread the cost over up to six months*.
What's included in a MINI brake service?
Brake pads and brake discs checked and replaced
The first part of a MINI brake service is the inspection phase. Trained technicians will check the front and rear brake pads and discs, to look for any signs of wear and damage. Brake pads get worn over time, and due to continued use, so every couple of years are likely to need replacing.
A MINI brake service includes:
- Brake pads and brake pad wear sensor replacement, front or rear
- Brake pads and brake pad wear sensor
- Brake disc replacement, front or rear

What does a MINI brake service cost?
The price of a brake service for your MINI depends on the work that needs completing – it will cost more to replace front brake discs and pads, compared to just front brake pads, for example.
