Introducing MINI’s latest concept - The Aceman!

After months of speculation, MINI has finally announced their newest venture: an all-electric, 5 Door Crossover SUV. When Aceman joins the MINI electric family it will become the brand’s first all-electric SUV. The inspiration behind the Concept Aceman is a combination of sustainability, driving excitement and state-of-the-art technology.

The MINI Aceman clearly combines traditional MINI D.N.A with a future design concept that is eye-catching, sporty and stylish. This model is sure to turn heads; the matrix LED ‘eyes’ form the octagonal structure on the front grille with touches of green contour to acknowledge the focus on sustainability, whilst also showcasing a unique light projection feature.

The dynamic exterior highlights do not end there, with the smooth contoured side panels flowing beautifully from back to front with the exquisite camberring on the corners providing a sleek aesthetic. In typical MINI fashion, the Aceman has a compact composition with shorter overhangs in comparison to your traditional crossover. Thus further enhancing the sporty feel when driving.

Personalisation is at the forefront of Aceman’s offering as an all-round crossover, fit for the ebbs and flows of family life. A feature unique to the Aceman is the ability to choose your own experience mode, allowing all passengers to engage with different worlds, environments and sounds within the comfort of the Aceman’s interior.

There are three different experience modes to choose from. Each mode allows you to enjoy different moods whilst driving, and experience a virtual environment that feels like an adventure of a lifetime.

The Personal Mode. Individual customisation is the star in this mode. Select different animated background images with their assigned sound and you will see this animation projected onto the dashboard. Different examples include shimmering water in a swimming pool, waves breaking on the shore, and clouds moving across the sky.

The Pop-Up Mode is all about spontaneity. This mode features intelligent experience-oriented navigation technology to help inspire you on where to take your Aceman. Experience categories vary from dining out, trends, events and a randomiser wheel!

Playful. Animated. Fun. These words describe the final driving mode possible: Vivid Mode. This mode allows you to craft new interactive interfaces to engage with whenever the vehicle is stationary.

A true force of technology

Depending on which interactive driving mode you choose to adopt on your Aceman, whatever your OLED display is showing will be extended onto the dashboard to provide further immersive interaction.

Aceman contains intelligent sensor-based light animation technology that emits a cloud of light that gets brighter as you move closer to your car, making for a very special welcome.

When you open the door to Aceman, you will be greeted by a variety of colours and sounds that transport you into your own unique MINI experience. The innovative ‘Colour Burst’ sound pronounces a swirl of overlapping musical tones which combine with colour, to create the most harmonious entrance to your vehicle.

Minimalism - not just a modern trend

Interior styling of the MINI Aceman draws on sustainability as an inspiration and lots of the design elements reflect this. The distinctive MINI circular OLED screen remains a prominent feature in the front of the interior.

The traditional thinking behind a dashboard has been completely reimagined, with an all-new design from MINI. Black plastic is seemingly a thing of the past, with a new ‘surfboard’ like dash lined with recycled materials spanning the front of the interior.

Only one analog control element is present on the Aceman. Situated just below the dashboard, this singular unit allows you to make interior adjustments like climate control with ease.
