What seasonal health checks do Dick Lovett MINI offer?
At Dick Lovett MINI, we offer seasonal health checks in summer and winter, with each type of service available depending on the time of year.
Our MINI trained technicians in Bristol, Hungerford, Melksham (near Bath) and Swindon will provide a skilled and experienced analysis of your car, checking it’s set for summer. That includes topping up coolant, antifreeze and engine oil*.
When the temperature drops, the other type of MINI Seasonal Health Check we provide is a winter version. It’s important that your MINI tyres and windscreen wipers are in roadworthy condition, and that your levels of antifreeze and other fluids are sufficient enough. Our team will check all of these elements, and more, during a MINI Winter Health Check.

What's involved in a seasonal health check?
A seasonal health check covers several key aspects of your vehicle, all inspected and examined by our MINI trained technicians, who know your MINI inside and out.
Whether it’s conducted in the summer or the winter, a MINI seasonal health check includes inspections on the following:
- Brakes
- Steering
- Battery
- Tyres
- Fluid levels (coolant / anti freeze / oil)*
- Suspension
- Lights
A video health check, taken while your car is being inspected, is also included in the cost. If the health check discovers an issue that needs to be repaired, this video can be shared with you so you can see what work is required before we carry it out.

How much does a seasonal health check cost?
Both our MINI seasonal health check services (summer and winter) are available at the same price - £29.99
Contact our dealerships in Bristol, Hungerford, Melksham and Swindon for more information. Included in that price is a video health check of your car while it’s on the ramp for inspection, and a wash and vacuum before it’s returned to you.
A MINI Seasonal Health Check provides great value for the peace of mind of knowing your vehicle is road-ready for summer or winter. Seasonal health checks are also included as part of a MINI Pay Monthly Service Plan.
