The Evoque has been a stunning success for Range Rover since its arrival in the market as a premium compact SUV. Would there be enough demand for the smallest SUV in the Range Rover line-up? The answer to that has been a resounding yes.
While its dimensions are smaller than family members such as the Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery, the Evoque doesn’t lag in terms of power and performance. You obviously don’t get rapid sports car acceleration but what you do get is quiet and refined driving; smooth around town and an effortless motorway cruiser. Comfort takes precedence when on the road.
That’s not to say an Approved Used Range Rover Evoque can’t be quick – the PHEV model is capable of 0-60mph in just 6.1 seconds.
Like many models in the Land Rover Approved Used range, the Evoque promises luxury motoring – and it definitely delivers on its promise. There are smart design elements, especially on second-generation Evoque models, which have taken inspiration from the Velar. Retracting door handles, updated exterior styling, enhanced safety features, and Land Rover’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system (in models post 2021) are all included.
Pivi Pro has a 10-inch touchscreen, built-in sat nav (as standard on models above the entry level and R-Dynamic trim), DAB radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Standard eight-way adjustable seats mean driver and passenger can set their perfect position – memory function is available on selected trims – and newer models have increased space in the rear because of a longer wheelbase. Leather seats are standard in selected models, USB sockets are available, and climate control can also be operated in the rear of the vehicle. There’s just a general feeling of class and sophistication.
