With a natural bias towards on-road driving, the new Range Rover Velar will not leave you wanting for performance. The new Velar comes with a choice of optimised engines providing plenty of acceleration with lower CO2 emissions, leaving you with a comforting drive with eyebrow raising performance when required.

Whether you choose one of the new lightweight 2.0-litre or 3.0-litre Petrol or Diesel engines, they all feature 48-volt mild hybrid technology that harvests energy lost under deceleration to boost efficiency.

The Range Rover Velar comes with the option of a plug-in electric hybrid Variant, the P400e. This new variant combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for a total of 404PS. This improved PHEV option also has a larger battery than the previous model, increasing the all-electric driving range to 40 miles.

This new model keeps key features that were showcased in the previous model, such as the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics technology that continually monitors the driving conditions to deliver the right amount of torque to each wheel depending on the terrain.
