The Pure Electric engine (BEV) - This engine runs solely on electric energy, powered by electric motors and a battery. Jaguars with a pure electric engine produce zero tailpipe emissions and are the most environmentally friendly of all the range if using renewable energy to charge the car. Fully electric cars also produce very little noise, and therefore offer a peaceful driving experience.
The Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) engine - This engine combines electric energy and an internal combustion engine (sometimes referred to as ICE) to produce its power. For shorter journeys, you can be content in using fully electric power and producing zero emissions, but when going the distance, you can rest assured that you have the petrol performance to fall back on.
The Mild-Hybrid (MHEV) engine - this intelligent Jaguar engine combines efficient Ingenium petrol or diesel power, with a clever underfloor battery. This works to recover energy that would normally be lost when slowing down, and redeploys it to boost power to your engine for increased efficiency. Ideal for those busy commutes where start stop is often needed.

Pure Electric - The Jaguar I-PACE
If it is pure electric power that you want, then look no further than the Jaguar I-PACE. This award-winning fully electric car is a leader in its class and has an electric range of up to 292 miles on a single charge.

Mild Hybrid Technology - E-PACE, F-PACE, XE & XF
If you’re just starting out on your electric journey, then mild-hybrid technology could be the right choice for you, and Jaguar has ensured there is a vehicle for everyone in their electric range.
