1. Gloucester Services
Arguably one of the nicest service stations in the South West, Gloucester Services also accommodates electric vehicles by having two GRIDSERVE machines at both their Northbound and Southbound Services, possessing four leads on each machine.
These services are the perfect stop as they allow you to browse through their Farm Shop whilst having a break from driving on the M5, as well as charging your electric car. For those of you yet to sample one, we can heartily recommend trying one of their hot sausage rolls - a delicious way to pass some time!

2. Clarks Village Outlet, Street
Calling all shopping connoisseurs, Clarks Village Outlet in Street is a great place to charge your electric car. According to Zap Map, Clarks Village’s four EV charging bays are located in the North-West corner of Car Park Two, just off the A39 dual carriageway.
Not only this, but as a shopping-based location, why not browse through the shops, as well as enjoy a sit-down meal to recharge whilst your car does the same?

3. National Park Visitor Centre, Haytor
To make the most of your time whilst your car is recharging, the Dartmoor National Park is the perfect scenic area to stretch your legs and have a breath of fresh air. Go and see their most popular tor on the eastern edge of Dartmoor, just 3 miles from Bovey Tracey.
The Visitor Centre is well placed for a stroll up to the iconic Haytor Rocks and other moorland walks. It is one of the most picturesque ways to make the most of a charging stop. Look out for the two PodPoint EV Charging Sockets that are located within their Lower Car park on the B3387.

4. Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa, Bath
Stay at the luxurious Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa, one of the few hotels in Bath to offer electric vehicle charging according to Zap Map. By booking direct, valet parking is available where they will take care of recharging your electric vehicle, ensuring you can recharge and relax during your stay enjoying all of the luxurious facilities.

Not only this, but the Zap Map website and App are also great places to search for chargers which show costs and availability, and you can even filter by plug types.
