Q My service is due, what can I do?

Our Service centres are now open to repair all customer vehicles. To make a booking, please call your local Dick Lovett dealership or use our online form

Below is some additional information from some of our Manufacturers with regards to servicing:

If you own a BMW or MINI:

Customers requiring a vehicle service during the delays caused by Coronavirus can rest assured that your warranty will be unaffected by this disruption. All cars serviced within 3 months or 2,000 miles (whichever is earlier) of the service indicator will be protected in full by any applicable warranty.

If you own an Aston Martin:

Owners whose cars require a vehicle service during the disruption caused by Coronavirus are being assured that their warranty cover will be unaffected, and all cars serviced within three months or 2,000 miles (whichever is earlier) of the in-car service indicator will be protected in full by any applicable Aston Martin warranty.

If you own a Porsche:

If your Porsche is due a service, you may still continue to drive the car as long as it remains roadworthy, but mileage should be kept to a minimum. Any vehicle use should be in line with Government guidelines and oil/coolant levels should be monitored and topped up if required, as shown in your Owner’s Manual.

If you exceed the time/mileage limit for required service and maintenance you must notify your Porsche Centre via email with your service request. If the request for a service and maintenance appointment has been submitted to your Porsche Centre in a timely manner it will be taken into consideration when processing any subsequent warranty claims.

If you own a Jaguar or Land Rover:

We understand due to lock down that you may be unable to adhere to Jaguar Land Rover servicing guidelines and recommend that you have the work completed as soon as possible after lockdown. In the meantime ensure basic maintenance is followed. Please refer to the advice from the AA on how to maintain your vehicle when not driving regularly: https://www.theaa.com/driving-advice/laying-up#guidelines
