“I am looking forward to being able to effect and impact a wider audience across numerous brands.”
My journey started in 2012 in Dick Lovett BMW Bristol as a Receptionist. Being only 18 years old I grew, developed, and created the foundations of my career by forming fantastic relationships with colleagues that I still work alongside now. I then took on the BMW Sales Administrator role, then moved into a MINI Trainee Sales role, up to a MINI Sales Executive role and then onto becoming a MINI Retail Manager.
These roles have taken me across different locations within the group allowing me to work with and learn from some fantastic people. This then ignited the interest in working with people and being a part of their development and career path.
My role is to empower all sales related roles with the learning and skills to do profitable business, create great customer experiences and future proof customers with Dick Lovett whilst being compliant.
This learning will start at the induction process and continue through to CPD for experienced and established members of the team.
I am most looking forward to the exciting opportunity of being able to effect and impact a wider audience across numerous brands. In my previous roles my impact has been contained to one team in one showroom.
I really do believe we have fantastic people working across our group, a highlight for me is getting to speak with these people and clearly see there is a need and demand for L&D that will take good performances to fantastic performances.
Sales departments naturally have highs and lows. But external factors can enhance the wins and challenges. Delivering performance during a national pandemic was challenging. Nearly all communication had to be over email or telephone, so the ability to go above and beyond to create a memorable experience was limited. To come out of the other side with MINI Bristol’s Win at the Retailer of the year awards for our retail sales, was a real high!
