I’m a qualified Service Advisor at Aston Martin Bristol. I joined as an Apprentice Service Advisor after my A-Levels in February 2022. The role started out as helping and assisting Service Advisors and other colleagues, and gradually progressed into learning and adopting the job role. The team consistently had incentives to help progress my learning.

During your Apprenticeship you attend college to gain an official qualification. College was always a great time away and I met some great people with whom I am still friends with now.

I was attracted to the Service Department because of the consistent flow of work, interacting and building rapport with customers, and of course the vehicles.

My job role involves greeting customers for their vehicles service, MOT, or repairs. Managing their vehicle through the workshop and advising the customer on timescales and perhaps further work that is required. Once completed, I will invoice all work and see the customer out. The job involves liaising with third parties, internal customers, and external customers.

Dick Lovett is a great place to work as they present many opportunities to excel and build upon your skill set. They also provide a great selection of job roles. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help, and the team all work well together.

I enjoy working with my colleagues and getting to know customers, and I am looking forward to progression in my role in the future.
