BMW Proactive Care is all about making your drive smooth and worry-free. By keeping an eye on your car’s health and maintenance early, helping you to avoid disruptions and enjoy every journey to the fullest.

How Does BMW Proactive Care Work?

Your vehicle's sensors monitor for service requirements or potential issues such as a breakdown or if you have an accident and promptly transmit this information to BMW. They will proactively reach out to you through the My BMW app, directly in your vehicle, or via email. In urgent situations, you will receive a phone call.

 

What you need.

 

  • An active BMW ConnectedDrive account linked to your BMW.
  • Ensure your BMW is assigned to your BMW ID in the My BMW app or the My BMW portal. 
  • Your personal details, including your current phone number, email address, and preferred BMW Service Partner, registered under your BMW ID. 

To make sure BMW can reach you, please consent to the Privacy Policy within your vehicle and allow communication from your BMW Service Partner or BMW AG. For added convenience, enable push notifications in the My BMW app.
