BMW is gearing up for a very busy few years with a host of new models and updates to existing models being launched.
We’re also excited that a new family of all-electric cars are coming soon, in-keeping with BMW’s goal to become fully electric by 2030 so, let’s take a look at what’s coming to the BMW range…
Updated BMW X2
The BMW X2 is one of the smallest SUVs that BMW offers, with its distinctive coupe style compared to the more traditionally SUV styled BMW X1. The updated X2 will feature new styling refinements to bring it in line with the new 1 Series family, so this is likely to include a new grill, as well as updates to specifications and technology.
BMW iX3
We’re quite excited about this one as this will be BMW’s first all-electric SUV! The BMW iX3 is the same size as the current BMW X3 and will be capable of travelling for up to 285 miles between charges, with a 0-80% charge possible in just 34 minutes. We can’t wait for this one which is launching in summer 2021.
BMW iX
Powered by cutting-edge 5th Generation BMW eDrive technology and a fully electric all-wheel drive system, the BMW iX is of a similar size to the current BMW X5. Achieving an exceptional range and delivering powerful acceleration from a standstill, this Sports Activity Vehicle is ready to change the face of adventures, and comes available in two superb models; the BMW iX xDrive40 and the BMW iX xDrive50.
BMW i4
The first all-electric Gran Coupé in the BMW range will arrive before the end of 2021. The BMW i4 combines next-level performance with modern comforts to deliver a truly outstanding driving experience.
When the i4 launches in November, you'll be able to choose between two models. The i4 eDrive40, which costs from £51,905 with a 0 - 62mph of just 5.8 seconds, and more than 86 miles of range on a fast charge of just 10 minutes. And then there’s the £63,905 i4 M50, which is the first performance electric car from BMW M with a 9-6 mph of just 3.9 seconds, and a BHP of 544!
