Available in the new BMW X1 is a new curved interactive display, which features innovative touch and voice controls for ease of use whilst on the road.

New technology has been used to create a lighter chassis design to improve the sportiness of the car’s handling whilst continuing to provide a smooth ride over longer distance journeys. Additionally, a near-actuator wheel slip limitation comes as standard on the new BMW X1, further improving traction and stability through corners to provide the most relaxing driving experience possible.

The technology doesn’t stop there; a completely redesigned central console now features a switch/sliding control for maximum functionality. An on-board wireless charging tray ensures no charging cables spoil your driving experience by getting in the way.

To match the state-of-the-art technology, the new X1 has an interior that creates a truly luxury ambience. High quality upholstery is available in both Vernasca leather or Sensatec perforated styling. In addition to this, the rear seats are split in a 40:20:40 ratio, and can be folded at a variety of different angles to alter the amount of boot space that is required to a maximum of 1,600 litres. This new curved display features BMW’s intelligent operating system 8, which includes a stunning graphical user interface and the BMW Personal Assistant which has an even greater skill set than its predecessor.

As a result, the number of physical buttons and controls has been reduced to complete an interior which has been crafted with ergonomics in mind and bursting full of brand-new technological features.
