The First Ever BMW iX3

The BMW iX3 is here! The fantastic features we love about one of BMW’s most popular cars, the X3, have now been infused into a fully-electric model thanks to BMWi.

The iX3 maintains the subtle yet classy design of the X3. Exclusive features such as the aero style wheels and grille set this model apart from its ICE and PHEV siblings. Available in both an M Sport and M Sport Pro trim, the iX3 comes packed with features whichever trim you choose.

The BMW iX3 can be charged up to 62 miles range in as little as 10 minutes when using a high-power public charging station (350 kW). You can expect to match this range within 2 hours and 25 minutes when charging using a wallbox at home. The vehicle is supplied with both home charging and public charging cables, alongside the BMW Charging Card, which will provide access to an ever-growing network of over 270,000 charging points across Europe. For the most efficient home charging, we recommend purchasing an optional wallbox charger when ordering your vehicle.

Recuperation system

BMW’s recuperation system converts kinetic energy generated during acceleration and braking into electricity. This is then redirected into the battery to increase charge and therefore range. The recuperation level can be adjusted within the settings. Opting for higher recuperation will increase the system’s effectiveness and you’ll notice a feeling reminiscent of engine braking when letting off of the accelerator. There’s also the option to turn the recuperation system completely off if you’re looking for maximum comfort.
