Comfort and technology in the BMW iX1

Inside the new BMW iX1, you will notice the new eye-catching cockpit with BMW Curved Display including touch and voice control, providing intelligent solutions and innovative driver assistance systems.

The new 10.25-inch dial display merged with a 10.7-inch infotainment unit adds to the fresh new interior making for a spacious and open environment.

All models get a cloud-based BMW Maps navigation system, whilst the electric iX1 also gets routes optimised for charging. Aside from that, the iX1's cabin is largely identical to the X1, save for different instruments.

The leather dashboard and stitching extends down to the door cards and you can choose between chrome, gloss black or wood effect interior accents.

Further features include enhanced lighting including multi-colour ambient lighting, a new welcome function when you walk up to the car and a Dynamic interior light function that sends pulsating light signals to warn of an open door or an incoming phone call.

Sustainability in the new BMW iX1

The raw materials cobalt and lithium used in the high-voltage battery of the new BMW iX1 originate from responsible mining. A huge part of BMW’s sustainability is the recycling process of end-of-life vehicles in the recovery of valuable materials which are placed back into the production cycle.

In 30 countries, and together with their national sales companies, BMW UK have already regulated the take-back of end-of-life vehicles for this purpose, and offer environmentally compatible recycling at more than 3,000 take-back points worldwide.

**Most charging stations provide under 127kW and deliver slower charging times. Charging times are also affected by other factors, such as the battery temperature, condition and starting charge, vehicle equipment running during charging, the outside temperature and other factors. Stated charging times are based on optimum charging conditions. Charging over 80% slows to protect the battery. Network provider charges apply.
