Charging
Like all plug-in hybrid cars, the BMW 3 Series Saloon PHEV needs to be charged regularly to ensure the electric motor is primed and ready to go.
Charging is now easier and more convenient than ever before, with increasing emphasis on electric motoring. Your BMW PHEV comes complete with two charging cables – a standard version and a BMW Fast Charging Cable.
You can charge your BMW 3 Series Saloon PHEV at home, or at any public charging points that are available around the UK. If you have a BP Pulse wallbox installed at home, you can charge to 80% capacity in just over four hours, or 100% in around six hours. Using public charging points, which are located at fuel stations, car parks and elsewhere, you can recharge to 100% in just 3.6 hours.
BMW’s eMobility service, BMW Charging, can also help you to get access to more than 10,000 partner charging stations around the country.
