The second-generation BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé combines dynamic performance with sophisticated elegance, redefining standards in the premium compact segment.

The new model showcases its unmistakable M character like never before. Key features such as the M radiator grille with horizontal slats, black M exterior mirror caps, and distinctive M quad exhaust tailpipes emphasise its performance-oriented design. Additional highlights include the front apron with large air intakes, unique side sills, a model-specific M rear spoiler, and an eye-catching rear diffuser.

Equipped with M TwinPower Turbo technology, the new BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé delivers an exhilarating 300 hp and 400 Nm, propelling it from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.9 seconds. The BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system provides variable torque distribution between the front and rear axles. Paired with a mechanical differential lock for the front wheels, it delivers exceptional traction and cornering performance in almost all conditions.

That’s not all, the new M235 comes standard with an advanced 7-speed double-clutch Steptronic transmission, offering swift gear changes and exceptional shift comfort. Enhancements include fully electric actuation, a broader gear range, and improved efficiency.

The interior of the all-new M235 features many innovations, with upgraded technology, premium materials, and an unmatched ambience, providing a stunning driver-centric cabin design.

Standard equipment is plentiful, with industry-leading infotainment via the BMW Curved Display with Operating System 9, Adaptive M Suspension, Harmon Kardon Surround Sound System and Driving and Parking Assistant are amongst the many highlights.

A vast selection of styling options enables extensive personalisation. The M235 is now available in new exterior colours such as Thundernight and Vegas Red, but if you’re looking for something even more special, then BMW Individual colours are yours to explore. On the inside, M Alcantara/Veganza combination upholstery is standard, with the option to specify full Perforated Veganza upholstery in a variety of unique colours.

Optional packages expand the M235’s versatile skill set even further, bringing features previously unavailable on this model’s predecessor. This includes Parking Assistant Plus - building on the features of Parking Assistant, Parking Assistant Plus includes additional cameras positioned at the front, rear, and in the exterior mirrors, offering a 360° and 3D view of the vehicle's surroundings. There’s also the M Dynamic Pack, which is bespoke to the new M135 and M235 xDrive, and focuses on fully embracing the performance characteristics of the vehicle (more information below).

M Dynamic Pack

The optional M Dynamic Package for the BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé boosts performance with additional bracing, lightweight construction measures, and specialised chassis components. Also included are - reinforced piston rods for the front shock absorbers, lightweight aluminium anti-roll bars with increased rigidity, and extra underfloor bracing for improved steering precision and sharper handling.

The package also includes optimised applications for the steering and control systems. Weight is further reduced with M Compound brakes and M forged light-alloy wheels. The 19-inch wheels come with sport tyres as standard, with the option to upgrade to track tyres.

Adaptive M Suspension

The M Adaptive Suspension includes a firmer spring and damper setup with a lowered ride height, enhancing the vehicle’s dynamic performance while maintaining ride comfort. This suspension system automatically adjusts to road conditions and driving style, while the M Sport steering delivers more precise feedback with reduced steering effort.

Additionally, the newly designed standard sport seats provide lateral support and exceptional long-distance comfort, accommodating up to five passengers. Optional M Sport seats, upholstered in Veganza/Alcantara, feature integrated head restraints and an illuminated M logo – perfectly optimised for those testing the full performance capabilities of the M235 on track.
