Excellent service and staff make a great customer experience. Well done.
Mr Steven Murdoch
Dick Lovett BMW is proud to support the Motability Scheme by offering eligible individuals worry-free motoring with a range of BMW vehicles to choose from such as the spacious BMW 1 Series and the all-electric BMW i4, both of which are easy to drive and park.
The all-inclusive lease plan covers insurance, breakdown assistance, and maintenance, and allows for vehicle adaptations. With a new car every 3 years and a 60,000 mileage allowance, the Scheme provides peace of mind and flexibility.
Visit our BMW dealerships in Bristol, Hungerford, Melksham (near Bath), and Swindon to learn more about the Motability Scheme, if you are eligible, and explore what options are available to you.
Each of our Centres has disabled parking and access, making it easy and convenient for you to find the perfect car.
You may be eligible for the BMW Motability Scheme if you receive any of the following;
Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS), or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).
If you're not sure whether you're eligible for a new car on the Motability Scheme, our friendly team at Dick Lovett BMW are more than happy to help. Contact our specialist Motability team at Dick Lovett BMW today to find out more.
After confirming your eligibility for the Motability Scheme, our friendly experts at Dick Lovett BMW can help you find the right car that meets your needs and identify any necessary adaptations.
To get your new BMW Motability vehicle, you'll exchange your mobility allowance. Most vehicles on the scheme require all your allowance, and sometimes an Advance Payment is needed. Optional extras will incur additional charges.
Payments are deducted from your allowance every four weeks to cover car costs (including insurance, servicing, repairs and breakdown recovery). The lease lasts three years (five for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles).
When you lease finishes, you can choose to lease another BMW, keep your current one longer, or return it and get your mobility allowance back. Read more about how the Scheme works here.
The BMW Motability Scheme offers a range of benefits, including:
Our trained advisers at Dick Lovett BMW are available at all our dealerships in Bristol, Hungerford, Melksham (near Bath) and Swindon to help you. They can guide you through your options and arrange a test drive in the model you choose.
We offer a wide range of Motability vehicles and offers can include popular models like the BMW 1 Series, BMW 3 Series or BMW X1.

To join the Motability Scheme, you must receive one of the following disability allowances with at least 12 months remaining when you apply - if you have less, you'll need to wait until your allowance provider renews your allowance:
You cannot apply if you receive a lower rate or component of mobility allowance, or Attendance Allowance. If you receive DLA and have been instructed by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to apply for PIP, you also cannot apply. You won’t be affected if you already have a Motability vehicle.
Parents of children (from the age of three) and non-drivers can apply to join, but the vehicle must be used by, or for the benefit of, the disabled person.

Under the Motability scheme, you could soon take ownership of a top-of-the-range BMW or MINI with all these benefits included in your lease:
The Advance Payment is a fixed upfront payment required for certain vehicles, in addition to your weekly mobility allowance.
This payment is non-refundable and is determined when you order your car based on factors such as the vehicle's cost, maintenance, and expected value at the end of the lease. It is required because your mobility allowance may not fully cover the cost of larger or more expensive vehicles.
The payment is made in one lump sum directly to your Motability Scheme dealer, either before or on the day you receive your vehicle.

This depends on many factors but if you need a vehicle to get around and you qualify for one of the above mobility payments, then the Motability scheme is arguably the best way to get you mobile in the car you want.
It avoids the stress of wondering how much things will cost because all the costs, such as insurance and servicing, are built into the contract, plus the insurance covers up to two drivers.
