BMW M and BMW Motorrad first joined forces in 2018 with the optional M Sport Package for the latest S 1000 RR model, but now for the first time in history, there is a BMW M motorcycle; the new M 1000 RR.
The M 1000 RR is based on the S 1000 RR, but almost every aspect of the bike has been finely tuned and optimised to make it the ultimate superbike. Experience the thrill of higher top speed and acceleration thanks to new engine internals, push harder in the corners with the latest traction control system and brake later using the standard fit M brakes to the max.
The new BMW R 1250 RS combines sportiness with touring ability. It also packs a powerful punch thanks to the the advanced boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam Technology. This delivers an increase in power across all speed ranges, while also reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency.
The completely revised front, including new engine spoiler emphasises the dynamic lines, while the twin LED headlights give the new BMW R 1250 RS a balanced and modern look. The handlebar geometry ensures a sporty sitting position.
Whether in everyday use on winding country roads or for high-performance race track riding – the new BMW S 1000 RR leaves nothing to be desired.
With completely revised suspension and a re-developed engine, the third generation S 1000 RR takes high-performance riding to a whole new level. Engine output has increased by 8hp to 207hp and weight is reduced from 208 kg to 197 kg, further establishing its performance focus. Shift Assistant Pro for fast up and down shifting without the clutch is also standard on the new S 1000 RR.
