For those wanting to further their experience out on track, there is the optional M Competition package. This package features M GPS laptrigger, M carbon package and the passenger package that includes a tail-hump cover.
One of the key features included within the M Competition package is the M Billet Pack that features a 220g lighter swinging arm made from anodised aluminium, milled M front brake guard, front and rear sets and engine covers.

BMW M was founded in 1972 so celebrates 50 years this year, and to mark the occasion BMW Motorrad has created a very special anniversary model. The new M 1000 RR 50 Years M is finished in Sao Paulo Yellow and features the historic 50 Years BMW M emblem.
The M RR 50 Years M is fitted with the M Competition Package as standard. In addition to the extensive M milled parts package and the exclusive M carbon package, there’s a lighter swingarm in silver anodised aluminium, as well as the M Endurance chain, pillion package and pillion seat cover are all standard equipment.
