The Aston Martin Vanquish has long been the much-loved flagship of the Aston Martin range and now, in 2024 it has returned as a revived, all-new 823bhp front-engined super GT. With a host of standout features, this new Vanquish model houses the most powerful V12 engine yet and showcases entirely new body styling alongside a refined and upgraded new interior.
This powerful new model is an elegant display of domination, the highlight of which is the 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine - producing an impressive 1,000Nm of torque and 823bhp. The chassis of the new Vanquish has been reinvented to take advantage of this power increase, and the car now sits on a bonded aluminium and carbon fibre platform. With a bigger wheelbase, the Vanquish displays a longer bonnet, as well seeing a 75% increase in lateral stiffness when compared to the 770 Ultimate through additional underbody strengthening. This means that this Aston Martin Vanquish will benefit from cleaner, crisper handling, and a better overall steering feel.
The exterior of the all-new Vanquish is completely bespoke to this new model. A redesigned front bumper, fender, and large grille, enhances the Vanquish’s presence and gives it a more angular nose. The grille sees a 13% increase in surface area to that of the 770 Ultimate, allowing for additional cooling of the 835bhp engine. Intelligent frameless mirrors mean that despite the extra rear width, the new Vanquish is actually no wider than its predecessor, the DBS. The rear of the car is where the striking Vanquish presence can really be seen with its shield motif, full-width diffuser, and stainless-steel quad tailpipe highlighting this is a flagship car with crushing capability.
The sleek and modern interior of the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish sees a 10.25-inch touchscreen at its heart, home to Aston Martin’s infotainment system which sits within a new and enhanced dashboard and upgraded centre console. The rear of the car has been intricately crafted to make space for the most luxurious bespoke leather luggage sets that fit perfectly behind the two seats, both of which feature a new quilted design. The Vanquish also has a 248-litre boot space which once again shows off this car’s grand touring capabilities. A full-length panoramic glass roof lets in ample sunlight and highlights the Vanquish’s spacious interior which is finished in Alcantara.
The production of this all-new Aston Martin Vanquish is limited to just under 1,000 examples globally each year, with deliveries scheduled to begin in Q4 of 2024.
