First Look At The Stunning 2020 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

Get excited. Get very excited. Aston Martin has published the first four official photos of the highly desirable new 2020 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, which will become available globally in spring 2020.

As you’d expect from the design maestros at Aston Martin, this is an absolutely stunning sports car. We can tell from these images that the Roadster has the same wide, road-hugging profile as the Vantage coupé. And the same aluminium-intensive structure, slender rear light bar, ducktail spoiler, arresting front splitter and rear diffuser. The stylistic change comes in the form of the electrically retractable canvas soft top, to let you feel the wind in your hair and experience driving in its rawest, most authentic form.

No technical details about the Roadster have been revealed as yet, but we expect it to have the same 503bhp twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 as the coupé, which can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.6secs.

Although there will inevitably be a slight sacrifice in performance resulting from the extra weight of the folding roof and structural bracing, speed isn’t everything and it’s a small price to pay for the unadulterated thrill of open-air motoring in such a beautiful example of Aston Martin engineering.

The Aston Martin Vantage Roadster will be easy on the ear as well as the eye, thanks to the silky-toned AMG engine. And we expect it to have a starting price of around £130,500.
