Italy's annual Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is one of the biggest automotive events of the season, and each year new concepts and designs are presentation at the show. This year Italian design house, Zagato celebrates 100 years of Maserati with the exquisite Mostro, meaning 'Monster' in Italian.
Below Zagato's gorgeous carbon fibre bodywork the Mostro coupé uses a Maserati 4.2-litre V8 engine under its bonnet and features a lightweight 'MonoCell' carbon fibre tub chassis. Power is sent via a six-speed automated manual transmission. The Mostro sits on 19-inch alloy wheels with 255/40 R19 front and 295/35 R19 rear tires and cushioned by double wishbone suspension front and back.
More than just a one-off show car, the Mostro will be produced to the tune of five examples, with each having already been sold.
