BMW are now offering their first ED Sport model in the 3 Series range with numerous changes to its iconic design, giving an improved modern appearance.
Powered by the new 2.0-litre engine and available in either a six-speed manual or the class leading eight-speed automatic, the new model teams effortless performance with better than ever emissions and fuel consumption. The further characteristics such as the short front overhang, lengthened bonnet and long wheelbase are emphasised by a roofline that sweeps towards the boot giving a 'coupe-like silhouette'.
The OTR price of £30,205 comes with more standard equipment and personalisation including 17-inch light-alloy wheels, Business Navigation, Dakota leather upholsteries, sports steering wheel, unique trim finishers and heated sport front seats which provides an added £840 of standard equipment for only £500 more than the ED Plus model.
With the new ED sport emitting just 104g/km of CO2 (manual: 108g/km), and a combined fuel consumption of 70.6mpg, means it is the cleanest and most fuel-efficient sports model in the 3 Series range. This improved fuel economy doesn't impact on performance with the 2 litre diesel engine providing an acceleration from 0-62 in 7.8 seconds and a top speed of 143mph.
On top of all this, the additional technologies include Active Air Flaps integrated into the kidney grill and a lowered suspension set up, improving aerodynamics and overall performance and efficiency.
