Environment

At Dick Lovett we realise the importance of protecting our environment and have introduced a range of initiatives to minimise the environmental impact of our daily activity in whatever means possible.  Dick Lovett in partnership with its team members, manufacturers, customers and suppliers aim to use our position to create and educate awareness on environmental issues and highlight the importance of environmentally conscious and socially responsible business practices.

Dick Lovett ensures that every new car in our showrooms is displayed with an eco-efficiency rating to help customers understand the impact their vehicle will have upon the environment.  All Dick Lovett dealerships engage in correct waste management and recycling.   Our waste management programmes involve the collection of all dealership and bodyshop wastes with the aim of reducing disposal to landfill sites.  We also carefully monitor the disposal of waste oil, brake fluid, tyres, radiators, solvents, as well as the recycling of bumpers, cardboard, paper, metals and aluminium components.

As the leading Prestige Dealer Group in the South-West a significant amount of energy is required in the day to day running of our businesses and while the fact remains that we are all dependant on fossil fuels for our energy needs (and indeed the cars we drive and sell) this proves inefficient, and the more inefficient we are with energy, the more fossil fuels will be required.  At Dick Lovett, we consciously try to reduce our energy consumption.  This will assist in more efficient use of energy and a further reduction in the use of fossil fuels and production of carbon emissions for the future.

In order to ensure that these strict environmental procedures are adhered to we develop, maintain and implement policies, procedures and management systems to monitor the environmental impact of our operations.
