Olympic Hopeful Georgie Twigg heads to Argentina

The Women's Champions Tropy in Rosario, Argentina is well underway now and GB are doing well. Our Olympic Hopeful Georgie Twigg and teammate Crista Culen were interviewed by BBC Sport prior to departing for the tournament. This is what they had to say:

"This is our only other performance tournament of the year apart from the Olympics. We want to come up with the results so people at home get behind us and come to the Olympic Games." - Crista Cullen

"I think it's going to be a great tournament and a great experience to play against the best teams in the world" - Georgie Twigg.

We wish both Georgie, Crista and the team well with their final ranking tournament before the Olympic Games this summer. All the staff at Dick Lovett have everything crossed for you!

The Great Britain team are in Pool A, along with Japan, China and the Netherlands who are the defending champions.
