Apprentices
At the Dick Lovett Group we operate Apprenticeships across all the vehicle brands that we represent. Apprenticeships vary in length between 2 – 4 years during which time you will be employed by one of our dealerships and attend block training at the appropriate college/manufacturer training academy.
To apply, you need to have either attained or have predicted grades of C or above in at least four subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science.
We offer class-leading training and a work environment where enthusiasm and dedication are rewarded. At the end of your Apprenticeship you will have achieved NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. You can also be selected to attend more complex diagnostic courses to attain Technician, Senior Technician or Master Technician status. The vast majority of our Apprentices are still with the company in senior positions which goes to show that the sky really is the limit with Dick Lovett.
Every year we also host an ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award whereby we recognise commitment, passion and academic achievement. The winner receives £500 worth of tool vouchers and a trophy to recognise their performance amongst their peers.
In January and February of each year we begin our recruitment process for our Apprenticeship Schemes. If you would like more information or for details on how to apply please contact Sarah Scarth (Personnel & Training Advisor) on 01793 458 888 or via e-mail at Sarah.Scarth@dicklovett.co.uk.
